Una schiuma resiliant sottofondo che si inserisce sotto traccia per simulare un full-size pista zavorra. Si smorza anche le vibrazioni in modo da treni più silenzioso e c'è meno possibilità di 'rimbalzo wheel' per le prestazioni bottino. Circa 4.880 millimetri lungo, questa striscia è la larghezza della singola pista con rientranze per adattarsi alle traversine. La striscia flessibile se seguire qualsiasi rettilineo o curvo, ed è facilmente tagliato per fare giunzioni a punti e cross-over.
